Born on the 19th July 2000 at 10;13am at Medway Hospital in Kent. The second daughter of Heather and David Beckett. A seemingly normal healthy baby...

After noticing some symptoms that seemed odd, such as excessive thirst and tiredness, a diagnosis was given... Type 1 Diabetes.

Note to self: remember turn the setting down from adult when about to do it on a child.

A traumatic experience for everyone involved, but one which can now be laughed about.

Everyone makes misstakes, but when misstakes are made in managing diabetes, ambulances are called and the hospital drips are brought out....

When diagnosed with diabetes its almost an inside joke as you're bound to be diagnosed with something else along the way because of the condition.

Just because its for life, it doesn't mean normal things can't be achieved or enjoyed.
